At Germain Subaru, caring for our community extends far beyond the showroom. As part of the Subaru Loves to Care® initiative, our team proudly partnered with the Ronald McDonald House and Blood Cancer United to bring comfort and encouragement to families facing some of life's toughest challenges. Members of the Germain Subaru staff visited the Ronald McDonald House to personally deliver warm blankets and activity kits for children and families staying there while receiving medical treatment. Participating in this event, was incredibly meaningful for staff - especially Carley, our Love Encore Redelivery Specialist, as she stayed in the Ronald McDonald House while receiving treatment as a kid! The Subaru Loves to Care initiative is dedicated to supporting patients and families affected by cancer, and partnerships like these allow us to make a meaningful impact right here in our own community. We are grateful to Blood Cancer United for helping make this event possible and to the Ronald McDonald House for the incredible support they provide to families every day. Seeing the smiles, gratitude, and resilience of the families we met served as a powerful reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference. Germain Subaru is honored to be part of a community that comes together to care for those who need it most.

Germain Subaru believes that being part of a community means showing up for it—especially when it matters most. That's why each year, the Subaru Share the Love® Event holds a special place in our hearts. It's more than just a seasonal campaign—it's an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. This past Share the Love® Event, Germain Subaru was proud to donate over $30,000 along with Subaru to two incredible organizations: Nationwide Children's Hospital and Rescued Ohio. Both of these partners are doing life-changing work every single day, and we are honored to support their missions. At Nationwide Children's Hospital, that support helps provide critical care, advanced treatments, and compassionate services to children and families when they need it most. From groundbreaking research to everyday acts of kindness, their team is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of every child who walks through their doors. Knowing that our contribution plays even a small role in that mission is something we take great pride in. At the same time, Rescued Ohio continues to make a lasting impact by giving vulnerable animals a second chance at life—rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming pets across the state. Their work not only changes the lives of animals but also brings joy and companionship to the families who welcome them home. For us, supporting these organizations is about more than writing a check—it's about standing beside partners who are truly making a difference. It's about investing in healthier, happier futures for children, families, and communities throughout Ohio. We are incredibly grateful to our customers and community for making this possible. Every vehicle purchased during the Share the Love® Event helped contribute to this effort, turning everyday decisions into extraordinary impact. At Germain Subaru, we're proud to be more than just a dealership. We're proud to be part of a community that cares—and we look forward to continuing to support the organizations that make Ohio a better place for everyone.

A family, the mother and three children came to one of the events. The children's shoes were too small for them and the mother said that she is waiting for her paycheck to buy a pair of shoes for the oldest child and the youngest could wear the other sibling older shoes. One of the children could not decide on the color. she held two pairs to see which one would look better. They tried their shoes and did not want to take them off. They were so happy to have new shoes that fit them. They walked home with their new shoes on. The mother expressed her gratitude and said she will use the money from her paycheck to cover other basic needs.

Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, this is the reality. Subaru COL Zone partnered with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. On 2026-01-22, Subaru COL Zone donated 204 Coats to Child Development Council of Franklin County, Inc. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it has a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being. At Child Development Council of Franklin County, Inc, we are so grateful for this gift that will help so many in our community. One of our CDCFC Head Start parents shared "We appreciate Subaru's sponsorship. Their ad campaign "Subaru means LOVE" is good to hear; this put real meaning to that message."

This October, Germain Subaru proudly partnered with RescuedOhio through Subaru’s Love Pets program for an unforgettable Trunk or Treat event — a celebration of community, compassion, and wagging tails. Families filled the dealership lot for a day of Halloween fun, complete with games, candy, and the mouthwatering aroma of the Oh Churros food truck. Kids in costumes dashed from trunk to trunk, while nearby, the stars of the day — RescuedOhio’s adoptable dogs — stole hearts with every wag and cuddle. The event wasn’t just about treats and decorations — it was about creating connections. Guests learned about RescuedOhio’s mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need, and several lucky pups found their forever families that very day. On an unseasonably warm day, it was another opportunity to live out Subaru’s “Love Promise” — proving that a dealership can be more than a place to buy cars. It can be a place where kindness drives everything.

At Georgian Heights Elementary School, the start of the school year brings a sense of newness and excitement! Classroom supplies are always in need - teachers, passionate and determined, prepare their classrooms with love—often times reaching into their own pockets to fill supply gaps. Germain Subaru, through Subaru's Love Learning program, wanted to help! Through Subaru’s Love Learning program, Germain Subaru partnered with Georgian Heights Elementary School, this year and to help kick off the school year, delivered 10 supply boxes to the school - meeting with the Principal, Assistant Principal, and two teachers! The Germain Subaru team didn’t just drop off boxes—they stayed to meet the teachers, listen to their stories, and share in the school’s spirit. Smiles and laughter filled the entryway to the school as Georgian Heights staff opened the supply boxes. The impact was immediate. Teachers felt uplifted and Germain Subaru left knowing they’d made a real difference. In every box was more than just supplies—it was a message: You matter. We care. We’re in this together.

Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Columbus, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Germain Subaru of Columbus is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Germain Subaru of Columbus have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 02/13/2025, Germain Subaru of Columbus donated 150 coats and 150 shoes/socks to The Salvation Army Columbus Hilltop Corps. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

The Columbus Ronald McDonald House is honored to be the recipients for the third year in a row of 80 blankets and 30 self-care kits that were donated in partnership by Germain Subaru of Columbus. Here at the Columbus Ronald McDonald House we provide a home away from home for families with a sick child receiving treatment at a hospital. These blankets and self-care kits provide a sense of comfort in the mist of chaos. We are so grateful to continue being able to work with Rich Montgomery, General Manager of Germain Subaru of Columbus. Thank you for your kindness.

Katelyn was diagnosed at Nationwide Children's with stage 4 neuroblastoma at five years old. Due to several surgeries and treatments, Katelyn needed to spend a lot of time at Nationwide Children's. Katelyn had seen therapy dogs at other hospitals and knew Nationwide Children's was contemplating starting a more robust pet therapy program. She took it upon herself to write a letter to hospital leadership encouraging them to not only move forward with the program, but enable all patients, families and staff to experience what is now known as Butterfly Paws. In her letter, Katelyn wrote "I love therapy dogs. They make me so happy and know they would put smiles on the faces of so many here at Nationwide Children's. Please do what you can to make sure everyone can experience this type of happiness." Thanks to Germain Subaru of Columbus and their generous monetary donation we are able to provide this service to Katelyn and other children in need of the same. Without the partnership with Germain Subaru this might not have been possible. We can’t thank you enough!

We are deeply grateful to this dealership for all they have done to support our rescue over the years. In addition to letting us bring dogs to the dealership for adoption events, they've also chosen us as recipients of the Share the Love campaign, which provides donations for our dog rescue. Through this campaign, they have become our largest donor and supported the medical care for countless dogs. From vaccines to orthopedic surgeries or even emergency care, we are able to save more lives because of them.

We were hit by a cold winter this year and the inflation was not helping. A particular family of five started attending programs at our facility, Salvation Army Hilltop. The children were excited to be part of club 316. The parents volunteer in the food pantry. For a couple of weeks, they didn't show. I reached out to see if everything was alright. At first, the mother told me the children were sick. Considering it was cold season, I was hoping they would come back once they got better. I reached out again and found out they didn't have proper clothing for the winter. That was the reason they weren't able to attend programs. Here in The Salvation Army, we try our best to help people in the community. With the help of the "Subaru Love" event we were able to serve the community and this particular family. One of the children is obsessed with the coats stating, "it's hard to pick a color". The parents are grateful.

Germain Subaru of Columbus was honored to partner with Georgian Heights Alternative Elementary School for the second year in row during the Subaru Loves Learning event. A financial donation through Adopt A Classroom, where teachers can get much needed supplies throughout the year, as well as dropping off boxes full of needed classroom supplies always brings a smile to the faces of our employees, the teachers and most especially the students who benefit most.

Germain Subaru of Columbus and Richard Montgomery who is the General Manager have been partnering with the Columbus Ronald McDonald House going on three years. For three years they have donated blankets and care kits for the families staying here at the House. The blankets and kits bring a little bit of hope and comfort during their tough time. This year they donated 2 luggage carts full of blankets and kits. We are so thankful for their continued partnership and the little bit of sunshine they bring to our families. THANK YOU!

RESCUEDohio and Germain Subaru of Columbus have maintained a wonderful partnership for several years now. Whatever we can do to bring more attention to our rescue dogs is a win. This past year, our event with Germain Subaru allowed us to do just that by inviting student athletes of the Cohesion Foundation to attend our event too. This not only made the event more appealing for Ohio State sports fans, but it gave those student athletes a chance to see what we do up close and watch lives change right in front of them. We’re so grateful to be able to do events at this location and for the support that they’ve shown us over the years!

This experience was an opportunity for young students to walk away feeling supported by Germain Subaru staff members and with a new coat! It was incredibly heart-warming to watch our youth engage with the employees, be excited about trying on a new coat (working hard to get the right style and fit!) and walking away feeling so confident. We are grateful to partner with Georgian Heights Alternative Elementary School and honored to be able to provide 200+ coats to their deserving students! #MakingADifference #GermainSubaruLovesToHelp #GivingBack #SupportingOurYouth

Germain Subaru is honored to be a supporter of the 3rd annual Healing with Horsepower Car Show. All proceeds from this event help provide behavioral health services to central Ohio residents who are uninsured or underinsured. #MakingADifference #GermainSubaruLovesToHelp

Germain Subaru is honored to support the Susan G. Komen 3-Day event. This event and others like it are helping bring about an end to breast cancer. The net proceeds of this event help build a world free of breast cancer through research, community, care and action. #GermainSubaruCares #EndCancer.

Through our wonderful partnership with Germain Subaru of Columbus, RESCUEDohio has been able to make a tremendous impact on the homeless dogs of Ohio. As our single largest donor to date, we have seen the effect of their support year after year. This year, we were able to showcase more dogs than ever before as guests at the Columbus City Auto Show in March 2023. Our normal adoption events have a modest turnout with an average of 4-5 dogs in attendance, but through this weekend-long event with Germain Subaru, we were able to share around 40 of our amazing adoptable dogs with the attendees of the car show. This exposure helps not only the dogs in attendance, but also those who would benefit simply from our name being shared with more people. Since we don’t have a physical facility of our own, this also allowed us to fast track some meet and greets by bringing so many dogs into a public space. Several of the dogs who attended were adopted shortly after. We were very appreciative to have a Subaru representative helping us organize this event, as it was so much larger than what we would typically do. We had a safe, fenced space that allowed the dogs to be seen while still staying confined, and working in shifts allowed us to prevent volunteer fatigue as this took place over several days. We are looking forward to another great year of partnering with Germain Subaru of Columbus and already have some adoption events planned at their facility for next month.

For the second year in a row Germain Subaru has graciously supported Georgian Heights Alternative Elementary School donating much needed classroom supplies as well as a generous financial donation ($5,000 this year) though the Subaru Loves Learning program. The impact of this goes beyond words. The children light up when they see the fidget spinners and poppers and new markers. The teachers are just as thankful for the always needed supplies such as dry erase boards, erasers, wipes etc. In addition, the ability for the teachers to be able to go to Adopt a Classroom and order supplies as they are needed is such a welcome relief of the burden that comes with keeping a classroom fully stocked with the necessary items needed to support the learning and development of our youth. Subaru is certainly more than a car brand and Germain Subaru is absolutely more than a car dealer. The help we receive from this event and the support we receive from Rich and his staff is one of the highlights of the school year. Thank you Subaru and thank you Germain!

This is the second year that the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio has partnered with Germain Subaru of Columbus. Thank you to Rich Montgomery for the wonderful donation of blankets for the families staying at the house. The blankets provide comfort and warmth when families that have a sick child need it most. Thank you.

Beck, Nationwide Children's medical dog, has made an impact on hundreds of patients since 2017. Beck is a specially trained dog, under the guidance of professional clinicians, that has helped countless children and adolescents gain more independence and confidence. He and our other therapy dogs make very challenging activities fun and provide unconditional acceptance and love to our patients and their families. Beck and our other therapy dogs work alongside the following providers: -Trained therapists to target specific goals, while also providing comfort and companionship -Speech pathologists to work on talking or remembering commands after a brain injury. -Occupational therapists to encourage a patient who has had a stroke to use a weak hand to pet the dog or hold the leash -Physical therapists to help with walking longer distances -Recreation therapist to help reduce anxiety and improve empowerment in a child who is struggling with mental health challenges. The support from Subaru and Germain Subaru has allowed this program to grow and reach more patients.

Rich and Kaden from Germain Subaru came by The Open Shelter on March 21st with eight cases of socks for those we serve, the homeless and marginally housed. Socks are one of the most requested items by those we serve. This donation is a true blessing as we help hundreds of men, women and children each day. Thank You! #SubaruLovesToHelp

I have to share my recent experience with Germain Subaru of Columbus, their staff and especially their GM. My husband, our two children and myself were in town and had to make an unexpected visit to the service department... they were excellent and accommodating as well but this isn't about the service of our car that day. Our two children are special needs and sitting in any one place for an extended period of time is not something that is in any way easy for them. There is a little playroom/kids area in the lobby and we sat in there for quite awhile letting them draw on the chalk board and play around. After being in there for awhile the GM came in to say hello, asked if we were comfortable and asked if we would like anything to drink or a snack for us or the kids. My kids immediately started yelling "pizza, pizza" lol. The GM sat in there for at least 30 minutes just talking with my kids and letting them draw him pictures and even drawing some himself. He was absolutely incredible with them. He was so kind to take time out of his day (I'm sure he was busy) to make two kids feel at home. He asked them about their school and their hobbies and took a true interest in them After awhile he excused himself but came back 5-10 minutes later with a pizza he had ordered just for them, they were so happy that they couldn't contain themselves. It was just an incredibly kind gesture that blew my husband and I away. Keep in mind, we live in a different state and were just in town visiting, he knew this, and knew it was probably the only time we would ever be there but he did all that any way. I can't express enough how amazed we were by what took place that day, it's so rare to find people who just do random acts of kindness with nothing in it for them. Kudos to Germain for having such a culture! I just wish we lived closer.

I have never come into the dealership for service that I didn't leave satisfied and fully confident that my car was safe. Thank you all SO much. My most recent visit was on January 3rd. Hunter was who greeted me. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the history of my vehicle. This builds a lot of confidence! You have heard me say, Kody, that a dealership can only be as good as it's service department! The oil change and routine checks were handled quickly. Hunter made time to fully explain the condition of the car and what may need to happen the next time I am in. Someone is doing a wonderful job training! It was also much, much easier to get the service department by phone. Thanks so, so much!

On Saturday August 27th, Germain Subaru of Columbus once again partnered with our friends at the WAG! Fest to share the LOVE with our fellow pet lovers! We also entered some awesome dog owners into a giveaway for a THULE® Travel Kennel and some awesome Subaru dog swag! We had over 22,000+ owners and 12,000+ furry friends show up on Saturday! We are more than happy to continue providing support for the “Water Bark” Beach for our canine companions to dive into Metro Parks’ lakes! We cannot thank WAG! Fest enough for allowing Drevan and Kaden the time to enjoy some fun in the Sun with fantastic owners and their long and short-haired, tail-wagging friends!

I got my car towed here because my transmission went up 6 hrs into moving across the country! I may have hit 600 out of 2400 miles. Another dealer flushed my transmission a month prior. I thought it was something that needed to be done since I was driving across the country. When my car was towed there a little after hours, Kirk immediately began to assist with trying to see if he could find out what was going on to reduce the worry. My car would not go into drive.. I was told that the folks at that dealership should’ve advised me that if it wasn’t required, I didn’t need it done. I ended up having to stay at a hotel. The next day, which was a Thursday , I got back to Subaru and they inform me that it’s my transmission. I practically died on the inside. I called the previous Subaru dealer and they didn’t even have the correct mileage of my car & refused any assistance. I called Subaru customer care and opened a claim! That takes 48 hours & I still had 30 hours left of driving with a Forester FULL of my things. I asked Kirk to refer me to a sales person so I could see about getting a new car! He did & I’m so grateful he sent Val. My girl Valeriya was super AMAZING! She was attentive, patient, empathetic, understanding & truly a pleasure to work with. We shared a few jokes & she kept me in good spirits. I was having SUCH a day & it was extremely nice to have such a positive aura around me during that time. I’m almost sure I would’ve been in there boo hoo crying if she wasn’t there, it was that bad! She didn’t rush me or try to force anything on me. She wasn't pushy and made sure to ask about specifics I wanted. She respected my requests and provided me with honest information. I’ll always remember her & I might even come back across the country to her for my Ascent!! The whole team really, really worked with me & they were amazing & friendly. Even under these circumstances, this was truly the best dealer experience I’ve ever had! Fate truly had to have led me there. I ended up leaving the dealership with a 2020 Subaru Forester, premium, under 20k miles. The safety features on this bad boy are very impressive by the way. I used to have a 2017 Subaru Forester, touring. That was my favorite car to date! Make sure you come here for your Subaru needs! Oh and get you a Subaru if you’re thinking about it! I hope you guys really know what you did for me yesterday! Thanks again!

Germain Subaru supported The Open Shelter for the 2rd consecutive year during the 2021 Subaru Loves to Help Event. Team members from Germain Subaru hand delivered 200 blankets and socks to help support the homeless and marginally-housed in Central Ohio. The Holiday Season is a particularly challenging time for Open Shelter patrons and the timing of this donation was crucial for many people in need. We enjoyed a tour of the facility and learned more about the services provided there. Thank you to The Open Shelter for allowing us to partner in providing these very important services to Central Ohio.

Thanks to the entire service team at Germain Subaru. My son bought himself a 2011 WRX STI (his dream car) from a private seller. After only a month of driving, the car had bearing failure likely due to abuse by the previous owner. My son was heartbroken and even worse he was on his way to Basic Training and couldn't dedicate the time needed to fix the car himself. We are so glad that we reached out to Germain Subaru. Benny, Cody and Trevor came to the rescue with a new OEM short block, and they reassembled and installed the engine and it has been running great with no issues and no Check Engine Lights! Trevor and Cody both have a lot of experience with these limited-edition models, and we were very confident in their work. They kept us in the loop as the car was put back together even during the busy holiday season. It's good to know that there are still car dealers you can trust to do good work and take care of their customers. Thanks again for all of the hard work!

We are very proud of the Germain Subaru staff for their participation in The Salvation Army's Adopt A Family 2021 Program. This year we supported a hard working family with three children. The team at Germain Subaru provided $750 in gift cards, toys, shoes, clothing, household items, and accessories to ensure this family has a great Christmas. Best wishes to all Adopt A Families this Holiday Season!

Congratulations! Germain, In 2021 you raised $112,870 with 58 participants. Thank you Germain for a legendary year! Because of your continuous hard work and dedication, we were able to have another impactful year funding innovative cancer research at the OSUCCC-James. We look forward to growing with you in 2022! https://www.pelotonia.org

Stitch is a 10 year old Pitbull mix that was a shelter surrender and transferred to RESCUEDohio in September 2021. He arrived with multiple health issues including skin and ear infections, undiagnosed masses on his body, teeth that had been neglected and an enlarged testicle. An amazing foster welcomed him into their home offering a warm bed to sleep in, food to eat and all the love he needed to start his journey to healing. His senior years will definitely be his golden years; his foster fell in love with his fondness of early dinners and belly rubs and decided to give him a permanent home. Stitch is the sweetest old man who spends his days being a shadow to his new owner, chasing balls and taking long naps. Stitch’s care costs totaled $1,940.00 and we were able to cover his vet bills because of the support of Subaru and the Subaru Loves Pets campaign. The overall campaign donation of $3,100 helps us provide care to other dogs like Stitch that need more intensive medical care. RESCUEDohio is so grateful for the support we have received from Germain Subaru over the past 4 years.

On Sunday October 18th, Germain Subaru of Columbus Team members, family, and guests volunteered their time at Prairie Oaks Metro Park. The group gathered and removed approximately 140 lbs. of trash from the picturesque Darby Lakes area. Their efforts assisted in creating a better and safer experience for park visitors. Thank you so much for helping to keep our park beautiful!!!Metro Parks is appreciative of the efforts and look forward to a continued partnership with Germain Subaru.

Our partnership with Germain Subaru has enabled us to place over 500 dogs into their forever homes in 2020. In this time, we have been able to take in multiple medical and emergency cases that we would otherwise not have been able to manage. With the donations from the Subaru Loves Pets and Share the love campaigns, we have been able to help puppies heal from parvovirus, treated 16 heartworm positive dogs, provided loving care for 6 hospice dogs, and prepared them all for their forever homes. Our volunteers work hard everyday to help the dogs that we bring into our group, and it is hard on all of us to see furry faces in need of help and to have to say “no”. Thanks to the support we’ve received from Germain Subaru, we have been able to say “yes” to many more dogs in need, giving them the care they need to set them up for the lives they deserve. We are so thankful for this partnership and Subaru’s dedication to homeless animals, and we can see the impact of their support every day in the form of wagging tails and puppy kisses. We even made a video to show the story of just one dog that got his Freedom Ride thanks to Subaru’s support! https://youtu.be/Pm0G44skNBc

My husband and I arrived later than we had planned on a Monday night and only had 2 hours until closing to select a car and make a purchase. The sales member, David, never made us feel rushed and happily answered all our questions! He didn’t blink an eye when we wanted to look at multiple cars. Everyone we met was kind, welcoming, and professional! We made it through the purchase process and the team stayed late to ensure we had everything we needed. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership!!

Leo and Bennie both helped out tremendously with my first purchase of a car. I was looking for a car for college/work and Leo made sure that I understood everything about the car and was very up-front about everything! From now on I am going to recommend everyone to Germain of Subaru. I was very excited to leave the dealership in a new Legacy that I know will last me through college!
